We came camping a few days ago. We at a pretty lake at the foot of a mountain where the Appalachian Trail crosses.IMG_20220827_193434.jpg It was 80+ degrees yesterday and today. The nights drop down to mid 50s at night, that's pretty good sleeping temperature. We paddle early morning till the big party boats start to come out, and the sun gets high, and it gets hot, then we get back to camp. The paddles are working out greatIMG_20220916_141317639~2.jpgIMG_20220916_172807452__exported_697_1663371009683~2.jpg My phone doesn't take very good pictures, so a few are from my wife's phone.IMG_20220916_141911880~2.jpgBig ole fat persimmons.IMG_20220917_154803185~2.jpgIMG_20220917_134911984~2.jpg sitting in shade working on my seat back rests. Maybe have them done on next trip.
A few skeeters this evening, but they are never to bad in these parts. We have some crows that fly thru at day break waking people up. There was a raven making the funniest noise this morning, really loud and right by our camp. He started with a throat gonk sound and went straight into the normal chatter the ended with the throated gonk sound. Hilarious. About bedtime, good night everyone.
Roy.
