[Walking Man]

I was watching a guy one night as we all sat by a community fire and he was carving on something. I asked him what he was doing and he showed me. He had found a terrapin and harvested it's shell after eating the meat. He was making the nicest little dresser box for his wife you've ever seen. He was carving flowers and vines on it when I was watching him. He said he's made them before and carved different things on them. Has anyone seen this done?

Sounds very nice. I wouldn't mind having something like that. Remember, a lot of Native American tribes did a lot of bone carving. It's a skill to use ALL the parts of the animal. No waste.
