Centipedes, edible?

In terms of survival, are they safe to eat? I'm just curious as to how they taste like when their pincers and head are discarded. Has anyone tried eating these bugs? How did it go?

I think I'd have to be pickled before I'd even be willing to try one. lol My guess is centipedes shouldn't be eaten. If they are toxic to other animals, odds are, they are toxic to humans.
