6am put in on local river right below hydroelectric dam. They were running 1 generator until 5am, so the water was low and cold. The two buddies I was with had their river pontoon boats and I was in my solo canoe. We left a vehicle 12 miles down stream at the take out, it was going to be a long day. Lots of shallow shoals. They were scheduled to start running 2 or more generators at 10 am. By 11 we were a couple of miles below, when the current started picking up. a nice rainbow trout. the umbrella didn't work out to well. By noon it was getting hot outside. the current was very fast by 1pm, 4 to 5 mph, so it was a little hard to concentrate on fishing when I was cruising over shallow rocks and washed down trees. The water rose 5 feet since we put in that morning. http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/6109ff2db66ab/VID_20210729_134159448.mp4a little fun.
