Lake Cobbosseecontee last weekend

I finally uploaded a few pictures from my fishing trip last weekend. I was at a buddy's camp on Lake Cobbosseecontee. We went canoeing several times, and naturally, did a lot of fishing with the regular boat and even from the dock. We got both large-mouth bass and a few lake trout. That was some good eating!

There was a shower Saturday afternoon and after was this double rainbow. Not sure my cheapie camera does it justice, but the pics are still pretty good.

PS. Ignore the date on the second photo. The camera's date and time clock is screwed up and I can't figure out how to fix it. I'm not good with electronics.

I'm not good with electronics either. Liked the rainbow, which came out excellent.

Where is Lake C? It is unusual to find large-mouth b and lake tr in the same place.

It's in central Maine, just a few miles outside of Augusta. Actually, parts of the lake are in Augusta, but we were at a camp on the Manchester side of the lake. You can also catch a lot of small mouths in the same lake. I think the trout might come from the stream that feeds into the lake, but I'm not positive.

Lake trout like cold deep water. Maybe you were catching brook trout.
