WE ATE WELL
We made Pizza over a fire - with sauce, cheese, pepperoni, & bacon.
Cinnamon pancakes with rich 100% syrup from Quebec.
Garlic potato chip soup.
Mashed potato with chicken in gravy and corn niblets.
At the end of the trip, we filled up on a luscious brunch at the Cookhouse before heading home.

-----> Words of wisdom "Pine". Like you, I've learned to cook well at the same time reduce packaging considerably. I'm into one-pot meals and though there are the MRE packages and the like there are a whole lot of choices one can make. The more experienced one becomes the more apt one becomes. I've always had a good tent and a good sleep system - these two alone along with sound food choices go a long way to make a trip enjoyable.
