We were a little late this year hiking in a local park, so we missed the trillium blooming. But there is always some kinds of flowers blooming, that a person may not be thinking about. We saw a lot of wild flocks, at least we think that's what it was, Jack in the Pulpit flower
a person has to look under the large leaves to find them, and what looks like white Snapp Dragon?
Wild Geranium
Wild Anise

The weather was nice. We've had enough rain that the stream was flowing well
We saw the effects of some flooding last month
I wouldn't want to be on this trail during a heavy rain or even a flood. There were a couple of wash outs that happened during the heavy rain fall we had. I need to hit this trail more often to see how things change seasonally.
