Default Giant shark caught off SoCal coast

Hey gang,

Has anyone else seen this crazy story about the 800 pound shark that was caught off the the Southern California coast. I wonder what kind of bait they were using.

Where did you find that crazy story? That must be scary, I bet those people who caught the creature were after its fin? Or just putting him up in an aquatic zoo?

@Coz - I've seen that photo around the Internet and it's a Photoshopped image. I was born in raised in San Francisco and can tell you that there aren't any sharks that size within the bay.

Yikes! That is one big shark! There was a picture on MSNBC this morning of a shark tailing a guy in a kayak. Just one more reason to stay out of the ocean!

The link to the story about the shark is found in the words, "800 pound shark" in my original post. The shark was so big that it had to be towed back to the dock instead of being pulled onto the boat.

Heck no and I have family in that area. I love watching Shark week but I swear when I hear stories like this it really makes me never want to get in the ocean again. I am a beach bum, on the sand only!

Wow, no! That is pretty scary! I wonder how they pulled it in. Who the heck caught it? I guess I won't be going to Southern Cali anytime soon (or ever).

Not sure how I keep finding these shark stories but check out this one:

Large shark snags fish while woman is fishing - YouTube

Nothing like minding your own business, reeling in a fish and then - slam! I think I would have wet my pants if that happened to me.
