The "Jitterbug" I was just going through my tackle box of bass lures and flies and my wife asked me "What's your favorite bass lure?" I have to say the "Jitterbug". How about you?

The old standard! However, I like the Heddon Lucky 13 and walking the dog with a Zara Spook better than the Jitterbug. But on those dark nights, there's nothing better than the jitterbug gurgle for fish to zero in on.

My favorite lure of all time for bass is the weedless purple worm---not just a plain old purple worm, but a weedless purple worm.

It would depend on the species, season, water clarity, and weather conditions to pick a favorite. There are so many super lures to choose from I don't have a specific favorite. But for the sake of posting I'd choose a weedless 3/8th oz. black and blue jig with some type of appropiate trailer for largemouth and a tube jig for smallmouth.
