Streams or lakes? I've long fly fished for trout in rivers and streams. The last few years I have been fishing for them in lakes. It's a whole different ball game with lakes. Do you prefer fishing them in streams or lakes?

I've been learning and reading about trout this winter. From what I've learned, it's easier to fish for them in streams, as they tend to remain at rest and let food come to them. In a lake, they're on the move.

So it's the same kind of fish you are fishing for, but the habitat is different. You would think they would be on the move in the stream, and at rest in a lake, but it's just the opposite in reality. Interesting.
