Tournaments

Does anyone here participate in fishing tournaments? I'm thinking of trying in the muskie tournament this year. I've been pretty lucky getting a muskie when I'm out for one so I may try my hand.

I have fished in both musky and bass tournaments. Always have a good time. Have had mixed results with both species. I find musky tournaments much more difficult, especially on smaller waters. Too much competition to fish the prime spots.

I say give one a try, I'm sure you will have a good time. Be sure to check the tourny rules for livewell requirements, some require a livewell that will fit a 50" fish, that is a big live well!
