Default Weather changes

Two or three years ago, our family went swimming in the Atlantic Ocean at Fort Macon, NC on April 1. It was almost 90 degrees, and there were at least 50 others in the water. I can't imagine going in this year with temperatures this low. Are weather extremes really so different in the past few years, or is it just my perception?

Just your perception. Somewhere in these forums I told the hunting story where the temps dropped 80 degrees in 24 hours. That was in 1961. Whenever a new weather record is set, it is from a past time and there are still a lot of records to be broken.

I feel like it is colder than it normally is this time of year here, we have been consitently below the average temps for the year. However I don't think any record lows. But it has been below frezzing in the morning in GA, that is just not right this time of year. haha.

What I was about 4 or 5 it snowed on my birthday which is in April. The only thing constant about weather is it will change.

You really wanna have some fun look like info on "The Little Ice Age".
