Usually at the big box stores. My son and his father-in-law both reload, so I mostly just buy .22's.

What I don't reload, I am part owner of a gun shop so I just add it to whatever order we put in.

Wherever the best deal is when I want more. Big box store, feed store, sporting goods stores, even some grocery stores carry ammo around here.

Mostly from Walmart and a local mom and pop sporting goods store. I think we are going to have to start ordering online though because the Walmart ammo cabinet is bare.

I prefer to buy it local and pay cash so the transaction isn't recorded.

I haven't bought any ammo in over a decade. I still buy arrows though. I do that anywhere they can be found; archery shops, sporting goods stores or even Wal-Mart.

Why don't I buy ammo? I stocked up in the late nineties figuring that the price would skyrocket which did happen. And, I reload.
