Question Doe urine ban?

I heard that Alaska banned doe urine last year. Does anyone know why it is banned? Is it banned anywhere else? My husband wants to go deer hunting this fall and he usually uses it.

Maybe to make all the does easier to find because they're all dancing around having not peed since last April.

What!? No I have heard nothing if a deer urine ban. I am pretty sure it is not this way in New York. I know a lot of hunters that use it when they hunt.

Hi...

I find that really hard to believe, especially in a State as liberal as AK. On the other hand, though, AK doesn't have a lot of deer...so, who knows...??

typical politicians, think they can legislate where a wild animal goes potty.

Alaska is light on deer? I always figured it was deer city with that terrain.

I had a reply, but Chad beat me to it with his first post.

Hi...

AK has lots of moose, carabou, sheep, goats, musk ox...but the deer (Sitka Deer) aren't that plentiful, and aren't located in the colder regions...at least to my recollection.
