Default Guess what I did today?

We got to go to the range today, and not only did I find a new carry gun, a really nice man on the lane next to us let us both shoot his AR Bushmaster! That was freaking AWESOME! I would love to get one, but it is way out of our price range. I also shot the best I ever have, and I have been converted to a Glock girl! My hubby couldn't be any happier about that.

I'm picking up my new daily carry today. I love Sig pistols, but opted for a Ruger SR9c in 9mm. I'll get to the range first thing Tuesday morning.

Good luck with the Glock. I'm sure you'll like it. There's a reason they are so popular.

Ruger SR9 was my original carry gun, and I love it, I will probably always love it just because it was my first. I just can't conceal it very well and even though you can carry openly in Georgia I would rather not. I almost bought a Ruger LC9 a few weeks back, but now I am glad I waited. Now hubby and I will both have a Glock 19 as our daily carry gun although he is considering a Gen 4 Glock 27.

I got the compact SR9c. about 5/8'' shorter in length and 1 inch smaller in height than the standard SR9. The LC9 would have been easy to CC, but I wanted something a little more substantial and love the feel of the compact SR. It's just slightly bigger than the Glock 26.

I have not been to the range in ages. My friend has a few new pieces of weaponry he would like to try and he called me last week to join him. Regrettably I had to pass due to work. Good for you!

We need to go more often than we do, but it is a bit cost prohibitive for us. Ammunition doesn't come cheap, and our local sources are bad about not having much. I want to get a 22 pistol so that we can shoot more when we go, but I haven't found one I really liked yet. That and they cost as much as a "real" gun!

Pick up a Ruger Mk III target pistol. They are still reasonably priced and super accurate.
I'm still getting 500 rounds for $17.49

I just picked on up about two months ago to replace the one I sold off several years back. It's a great buy and one of my favorite hand guns to shoot. 22's are so cheap you can have a whole day of plinking around for under $20.

We will have to check into that guys I hadn't seen that one yet. We actually have a lot more options of places to go shoot if we get a .22 pistol. We have some family with land that don't mind the .22's, but get tired of it pretty quick when it is more than that.
