Default Gun prices on the rise

Has anyone else noticed a rise in gun prices lately? My husband has a few sites he checks regularly for deals and he was saying he has seen a pretty steep rise in just a couple of weeks time. Is there something going on I missed?

Not in my area yet but I still see gas prices climbing every day. I just about piddled myself the other day driving across state lines for work and had to fill up at lunch. I was thinking its almost worse than buying a pack of smokes.

Paraphrasing H. Clinton; It's all part of the vast left-wing conspiracy.

Groceries have increased in price as much as 60% in the last week. There are several things I purchase on a regular basis so I know what they cost. Boy was I surprised this past Tuesday when I went to the grocery. It's not a good thing.

Wow, now I want to go to the grocery store even less than I already did. Grocery shopping has just gotten downright depressing these days. Haven't noticed gun prices increasing too much lately, but having a harder time finding some ammunition.

Gun prices are going up over 10 percent a year on "the good stuff." Colt, Winchester, etc. When times get tough there is uncertainty. That makes old guns of quality more valuable.

The price of fuel increases transportation costs. Internet gun sales make the market available to everyone. It is harder to find deals now. Hoarding of guns and ammo but scared people has increased the demand somewhat. We have the most liberal gun laws in the world.

Hunting liscense sales have decreased in the last 10 years nationwide.

EDIT-
Many people suggest that gun sales have increased dramatically since Obama has been in office due to fear. Fear of what? I am not sure how to answer this question. The sentiment on a forum like 24 hour campfire is fear of a black president.

Right now it seems as though the price of everything is on the rise. I know that we have been breaking records in terms of gun licenses issued and gun sales in the past year or so in the United States.

This is symptomatic of just about everything out there. Everything is going up in price. Our kids are being conditioned to expect inflation and learn to live with it. For those of us on fixed incomes, it's especially difficult. We remember better times.
