Default Have you/are you getting any new guns?

Gun sales have just gone through the roof since the election so I was wondering if any of you guys have gotten anything new or do you plan to in the near future? We would like to get several, but I think we are just going to get one more Gen 4 Glock 27 before the year is out. My husband and I are trying to set up our EDC so we both have the same gun and interchangable magazines should the poop really hit the fan somewhere. Now when the taxes come back it could be an entirely different story...

No new guns but I'm getting a holster for my motorcycle.

Buying that generator really cut into my gun funds.

I'm still looking for a decent Ithaca Model 37 pump shotgun. The other one I really want is a Ruger Single-Six Convertible.

Hi...

Good idea.

A retired IRS acquaintance of mine used to have one attached to his bicycle frame.

We live in a society of fear. I have no plans for any specific gun buying, but once in awhile something used and valuable comes along for a fair price. I like to look.

Have you been to the Scheels store in Sparks? There is one near me in Iowa and they have a great collectible gun area.

For some it's fear, others it's cautiousness. Knew a guy who insisted on riding his bike through a part of town that was known for high crime. He stated it was his right to ride where ever he wanted. Then he was robbed one day. It's his right to be foolish too. I don't go to that part of town not out of fear, but because I'm not a fool looking for trouble.

I see they just opened a Scheels in Salt Lake. Never heard of them before but daughters newspaper had a full page on the new store. Looks very very interesting. I need to plan a day and drive down and visit that place.

I foolishly sold an Ithica model 37 12 gauge pump many years ago for much less than it was worth. I wish I had it back. So does this mean the price of guns and ammo will take a big jump again?

I havent bought any guns and given the number I own its getting really tough to justify another gun. I do have one gaping whole in my collection especially considering the looming of another AWB being in the offing.

Im currently in the market for a CZ-527 Carbine in 7.62x39 but Im having a heck of a time trying to find one new or used for sale. Its one I want for a number of reasons. First I have a considerable amount of 7.72x39 ammo since I own a semi auto AK and a SKS that I shoot often and a lot. In the event my guns are out lawed it would be nice to have a way to still use the ammunition I already have. Second it has a .311 bore diameter vs american made guns that have a .308 bore. Third the older I get the more conservative I get. While I shoot my heavy recoiling magnums very well, I do find the more moderate power level rounds to be a lot more fun to shoot. Being a reloader, I also like the economy of the more moderate power level, more effcient rounds. A bolt gun in 7.62x39 just seems to fit the bill on all accounts.
