Lorax, let me know what you think of it, if you don't mind. I've been looking at it, but I'm not quite ready to retire my old Standard model (pre-Mk 1, 2, and 3) yet. I like the changeable grips idea, but I doubt I'd use the rail to mount anything.

Actually, I favor SA revolvers more, and if I had the extra bucks I'd be interested in their Single-Ten. My dad had a convertible Single-Six when I was young, and we shot thousands of rounds through it that I remember, never a glitch.

I'll let you know. My guy can't get one right now, but I've already ordered it.

I would love to hear how you like it as well Lorax. I am planning to make that one of my next purchases. I love my SR9, but I was thinking the .22 might get a little more use at the range.

It won't match my Mark II for accuracy, but should be a great little range toy. The range reports I've been reading have all come back good with few problems for a new production pistol.
It's almost a clone of the Walther P22 with better materials, more accurate and will digest most any types of ammo without failure to fire and stovepiping.

The two best .22 handguns I've ever used were the Ruger Single-Six (convertible), and the Harrington Richardson Model 999 break-action. The H&R's have gone clear out of sight nowadays, and the Single-Sixes are pretty pricey too.

I also like the .22 conversion kit for the Gov't Model .45, but I've found that it is prone to fouling after running a few magazines through it, and gets unreliable.

Long ago, I had a HR 939. It was a good little gun - I wish I had it now.

Looks like a great handgun! I always liked the Ruger Mark II & III target pistols.
