Any of you folks load for this cartige. I'm looking for loads using a 225 gr bullet

I can't recall if this one is in the Hornady book, but they have most of the Ackley shouldered cartridges listed. I've never tried a .338-06, how do you like it?

I like it quite a bit, use it primarily for Roosevelt Elk and it seems to do the job quite well

Out of pure curiosity, do you prefer blunt- tipped bullets, or spitzer type, and what kind of range do you take elk at with this round?

I'm using the Nosler 225 gr AccuBond and try to hold my shots under 300 yds with under 250 preferred
