Rifle Season for Deer

It's rifle season for deer where I live. I haven't been able to go yet but I'm hoping to get out Saturday. We keep some of the deer meat and give some of it away. I'm not really fond of it but a lot of people are here and we take it to dinners at church. What season is it where you are?

I'm from Indiana. Our gun season starts this coming Saturday. I should be in the woods then.

Rifle season yippee! I got a doe with my bow a couple weeks ago, so bring on the big buck! I also hunt and give some away to family, my dad appreciates it since he can no longer go out hunting!

Rifle season here I come. I will also be out in the woods Saturday to see if I can bag myself a few more this year. The weather here has been warmer than usual so hoping for a cool down!

Our rifle season is intermittent. I shot a spike buck in the early season, and our regular season starts on the 20th. I generally take a half dozen or so deer every year, but we have a ridiculous deer population in this part of Wisconsin. We also have two late seasons, and a land owner permit season, all of which amount to about two and a half months of rifle hunting. We currently have no limit on the number of deer we can take, and the tags are free after the initial license. Bucks are limited to one per doe, and I've got two buck tags so far. I sure like having a freezer full of meat that came from a place I know.

From Kansas and rifle season starts on Dec 1 i am set up to get out on the 8th so hopefuly i will be able to fill my two tags.
