Who's Ready for Turkey Season? Anyone else besides me - and Craig Morgan according to twitter- getting excited for Turkey hunting? When does your season start? What weapon do you use?Ours starts the last week in April. As soon as the snow breaks we'll be scoping them out ! Love this time of year a month plus of hiking the bush!

I actually really dislike turkey season. There are so many turkeys here that I'm always a little nervous some newbie hunter is going to be sitting in a bush and blast a couple teenagers out for some privacy. Lots of party spots in the woods here and they move around quite a bit as the adults figure out where they are.

I don't hunt but I'm sure ready for turkey season! My best friend's hubby hunts turkey and I love fresh turkey! I don't even mind plucking it or getting it all cleaned out. I'm not much of a hunter though.

We have a lot of Turkey's here too. But somehow they manage to scatter quick right before the season. They are starting to become call resistant though. Which is crappy. Hopefully though this year will be different. I didn't even get one last year. First year out though I got 2 ;D

All I would have to do is run a line of seed to my bulkhead door then run up and kick a couple down the stairs. They used to chase my sons out of our yard. They're not afraid of dogs or cars. I have counted as many as 30 at a time but the average is probably groups of 15.
