We did 2 nights at Cosby (GSMNP). What a fantastic weekend! We could not have scripted better weather and the boys had a blast. We did have about 4 new boys with us this trip and we had to cut the hike short since they were not (yet) hikers. People say we are crazy but we managed to get the boys to do about 7 miles back in the summer.

South Carolina here... Just found this group. Mainly interested in backpacking... Don't have all my stuff yet, but looking forward to getting out in the spring.
