Has anyone else been following all the hoopla about birth control and abortion on the news lately? It seems every time I turn on the news some other politician is sounding off about why they are for or against something related to birth control. Why is this suddenly an issue? Are the politicians just trying to get everyone to talk about something other than the economy?

Diversion just may be the reason Great. Politicians are notorious for creating diversions and birth control is controversial enough that once started they can sit back and let us divide ourselves to be conquerred.

Isn't that what the mainstream press has been doing regarding the Republican nominees? Keeping the controversies going so we are divided and subdivided so none of them can get enough support?

The political debate regarding birth control will be a hot topic in the 1952 election.

It is not a sudden issue for them, its a prop to get more votes come November. We always hear about this before an election but seldom hear about it any other time. Its just that time of the four year mark, poof they want votes, they talk a big game for the people.

You are right about that Grandpa this primary season seems to be dragging on forever. I believe we have a couple of states with primary's today. I just find it odd that with so many other important issues to discuss they have everyone worked up over birth control!
