If you're successful...you didn't do it on your own...!!

I have no idea who to give credit to for this but I caught it this morning from a friend and thought I would share. Seriously, no one should get credit right esp. if its a business that made it.

I saw that this morning too Carmen! I find it hilarious how Romney made an ad with the Obama speech playing in the background, and the Obama campaign is saying that he "never said that".

From my own perspective as a small business owner I firmly believe this shows how far out of touch this man is from reality due to his lack of real world (us regular folks) experience.
He has never had a "real" job or had the responsibility of being a business owner.
Despite the gubberment efforts and the efforts of others I consider myself a somewhat sucessful businessman. Real estate, retail, agriculture and a full time job on top of that.
I did start, manage and succeed at small businesses and continue to do so.
Will all those who did the "real" work please step forward?
Nobody?
Will everyone whosigned or even co-signed them bank loans please step forward.
Nobody?
Will all those who arrived at 5:30 am and stayed till 11 pm please step forward?
Nobody?
Will all those who had to go back to the bank, again, and borrow more money to make payroll please step forward?
Nobody??
Behind EVERY successful business man/woman is not other people but lots of sleepless nights, long hours without pay, ulsers, blood, sweat and plenty of tears.
Any of you "employees" have that problem?
If so your company provided insurance probably covered it.
When I hear about the guy who did well and is accused of having a silver spoon in his mouth, my comment is he probably dug it out of the ground with his bleeding fingers.
Does a business need good people to flourish? Absolutely!!
Do not be dissing successful business people, they did it on their own and nobody else.
It surprises me how many folks do not understand why a company or business is in business. It is to make a profit and not to give somebody a job.
I allways try and ask those who make rude comments about greedy companies if they to want to work for free like that business should.
This guy seems to be in that crowd.
Up yours Mr. President you insulting priss.

Just an example of how about 20 people with the same start in a company moveup at different rates based on how hard they work. It disproves what he is saying because we started at the same place in the company, all have the same resources avaliable to us. Try the other way around. Didn't want to brag but I am one of the ones moving up fast because I work my butt off. That is how I know who is there during lunch and who is not and who is working extra and who is not.
