Perhaps it has more to do with the appointment of judges to the Supreme Court than anything else.

A lot of this may be an attempt to stir up the masses. Obama was unfortunate enough to have a name that rhymes with one of the most hideous criminals in history, Osama. Both have a Muslim background, although anyone with sense knows it's farcical to compare the two. People, especially the ignorant masses, can be brainwashed into voting one way or another with no knowledge of the issues. Negative ads go after these people in any way, shape or form they can get human beings to go mark a ballot. These tactics reach a certain "voting" segment of the populace. I know some of them.

Do I think he is a Christian? For me the fact is I don't care what or if any religion he is. Religious affiliation or lack there of in my mind has no determination on ones ability to perform the duties of the office. I really question the candidates that feel that their religious affiliation is the biggest qualifier for the office of President.
