It's at the bottom of the lake... My friend was visiting some family and they went boating. She was in mid-dive off the boat when her son yelled, "Mom, wait..." Too late, and now her glasses are resting at the bottom of that lake. Hearing that story made me wonder, have you ever lost any object to a body of water?

Yup. I've lost a good Case knife and a couple of fishing rod and reels. You never know what is going to go into the lake if you don't reel in the fish you fight for five minutes to bring in.

Where do I even begin? I figure if anyone were ever to tie me up and throw me to the bottom of the lake, I would have everything I ever needed down there!

Oh, LOL! I just remember one time, my cousin was laughing so hard while wading in the waters, and her false teeth fell out. It was never recovered.

Wow, you guys know people who are losing expensive stuff! Glasses, false teeth, lol. I think the thing I lose most frequently is fishing equipment, which is a bummer, but I usually have back up with me.

I haven't lost anything really expensive just some hats and quite a few pairs of sunglasses that thankfully were cheap ones. I make sure anything worth anything is secure in the hull when we go boating.

I haven't lost anything valuable to me at the bottom of the lake. I've been careful around waters, besides I'm really scared thinking of creatures lurking under.

I remember once when I was a kid that my mom dropped the car keys into the water at the reservoir. I should say "Dad's keys". Fortunately she had her keys on her. Unfortunately, Dad carried a lot of keys for work and they were all on the same keyring.

Ugh, that could really put a damper on the trip. The worst we've lost is a fishing rod. The hubby set it down to do something, rotated back and ker-plunk, right down. into the water
