My dads ugly boat When I was a kid my dad had a pontoon boat. It was red, white and blue. Everyone thought it was ugly lol. It ran good though. We loved going out on the river. I don`t see these kind of boats much anymore. One or maybe two. Anyone ever see these pontoon boats around anywhere? I don`t even know if I am spelling it right.

Some of the best boats out there are ugly, as long as they float I could really care less what they look like. That is of course unless its a lime green or metallic pink - anything too crazy would be a little too much for me.

I agree with calanta. Sometimes the effectiveness of a thing is better than its design. The colors of the boat are red, white, and blue, right? Are there any stripes and stars in it?

I've seen some pontoons back in the day. Now I see more sleek, newer designs. I wouldn't say that a boat has to be pretty to work well. The boat just needs to have a good motor and be a sound boat.
