| A baby monitor sounds like a great idea. I let my kids camp in the back yard but I really don`t remember how old they were. We have done it as adults too just for fun. | ||||||||

| A few years ago in UK a girl aged about 10 was abducted while sleeping in a tent in the garden with friends. It is unlikely to happen, but it is always something to keep in mind. | ||||||||
