| Suggest a Camp Site in New York Hello: My friends and I are trying to plan a camping trip for our spring break (mid March). We plan on spending 3 days and 2 nights in the wild. What we're looking for:

| If your an experienced winter camper and have the necessary equipment, I'd suggest the Adirondack's for a wilderness experience. As far as hunting goes, you're out of luck unless you want to hunt coyotes. Everything else is either closed now, or will be by March fifteenth. Trout season doesn't open until April and the season for many of the other popular species closes March fifteenth too. There are a few species that can be fished for year round, but the lakes and most of the streams will still be ice bound at that time. On the up side It's free. |
