 |  Is there anywhere i can rent camping gear in southern california? I want to go camping but not buy all the equipment is there anywhere that does that? | ||||||||

| Three Ideas. #1 is REI (REI: Deals on Outdoor Gear, Equipment and Clothing for Camping, Cycling, Fitness, Hiking, Kayaking and More) a big supplier of high grade camping/backpacking/climbing equipment and they rent most of it at almost any of their stores. Check their website for one near you. # 2 some Military surplus stores also have rental equipment. #3. Some local stores will let you rent gear. Try going through the phone book and calling a few up. Rates may vary between stores. | ||||||||

| If you can narrow down where you are heading to or where you are coming from I could better help. My spouse is from CA (I am from MD, odd mix right?) and I am sure I could ask him for a couple of places that his sister hits up (she still lives out west). | ||||||||
