| I'll Take a Kayak! Kayaks are great fun. It's a nice way to be out in the water on your own. I like the rhythm you get as you paddle along. It's very meditative and relaxing. | ||||||||

| Our Priest is an avid kayaker. He likes to do it right after sun-up, on the lake by his home. In his homilies, he mentions lots of inspirational stuff that he gets from kayaking. He had a bear that took to checking him out each morning and suchlike. | ||||||||

| A short and lightweight kayak that offers ease in maneuverability is more suited to fishing on very small waters. Also the 10 to 12 footer kayaks are that much easier to man handle over rough terrain or to get down to a small creek if desired. | ||||||||

| A kayak is a small human-powered boat. It typically has a covered deck, and a cockpit covered by a spraydeck. It is propelled by a double-bladed paddle in the hands of a sitting paddler. | ||||||||

| It is propelled by a double-bladed paddle in the hands of a sitting paddler. The kayak was used by the native Ainu, Aleut and Eskimo hunters in sub-Arctic regions of northeastern Asia, North America and Greenland. Modern kayaks come in a wide variety of designs and materials for specialized purposes. Kayaks are in some parts of the world referred to as canoes. | ||||||||
