Default Start em young?

Okay, maybe this is a bit young for paddleing but just had to share this photo I stole from my nephew. I guess he wants his grandkids to start young....

Grandpa,
Yippee! Your family knows how to live. Now teach the kid enough to stay on the surface and show me his perfectly fitting life jacket.

Haha, beautiful photo.

Getting them familiar with outdoor activities at an early age is great for their development. Kids need more outdoor activity, it's a shame we feel the need to wrap them up in cotton wool nowadays.

Oh, Grandpa! This is such an adorable photo. You're right to start them young, too. We can so identify with this concept. One of our nephews already has his kids in small boats, and they are under three years old. They take safety precautions, but those kids think they are manning the boats like daddy.

Aww...what a cutie! She's raring to go! I don't think it is ever too young for reinforcement, of course with some degree of awareness. It's good practice just getting them used to sitting in one.

That is adorable! I guess he does like to start them young for sure. It's cute though! I bet the child loves the water soon if not already. I love parents that like to take their kids to the great outdoors.

That is a great picture and super cute kid! Ours are still somewhat young (not carrying all of their own weight yet) but even started them by school age is helpful. I can not wait for our next trip but I think it will be another year or two before we get the grand-babies out in the water.

What a nice picture! You definitely have to frame it.

I think starting outdoor activities from a young age is perfect, after a few years you might risk that children get too attached to their computers, TV etc and it may be to late.
