I will take a dirty, warm river over no water anywhere and any time. It is interesting that the guy survived with autism under conditions that would have killed the majority of people. I have one good friend with autism that has graduated community college and is about to return from his LDS mission to NC. I call him the "Priest of Pleasant Valley." He is the most genuinely sincere person I have ever known.

Don't mean to sound insensitive but the fact that he is autistic possibly saved him under conditions where average non autistic people would probably "lose their minds."

Amazing is right. Apparently a very unfortunate set of circumstances turned into luck. There's too much missing, though.

His dog ran away. Ran away? That's a bit strange. Strangers stole his food. Has any investigation begun?

To bad Paul Harvey isn't around any more. We need to know "The Rest of the Story." What ACTUALLY happened during those missing three weeks?

I hope he recuperates okay.

I do agree a bit that a person who was not autistic might have gone crazy and not survived. I would also take a dirty river over no water too. This story is amazing!

I can't help but think that God looks out for some of the people some of the time. I don't mean that he doesn't look out for all people. It's just that sometimes things just aren't in the overall plan of Life.
