Another surgery down for my son. I'm wondering how many more he is going to give us. Today was simple though, a hydroseal issue he was having. The wife and I got a little spoiled with the Shriners though, as we could be with our son as they prep him and as soon as he is out of the OR. Not to mention how nice the hospital is setup. We went to about five different rooms they shuffled us to, different waiting rooms and we had to wait an extra half hour after the surgery to see him. You ever have to sit with a pregnant women for a half hour when her son just had surgery and tell her she cannot see him. Not a happy camper.
But we are all home. James is back to his normal self, and the wife and I are both ready for a long nap.

I am so glad to hear that the surgery went well. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you and your wife to have to sit and wait. I completely understand that she would want to be the first one he sees when he wakes up.
