Clearing campground

I've been helping an old friend winterize his family campground. I didn't realize there was so much to do in the off season. I'm tired of hauling branches and clearing leaves. It was great being outside, however.

It can get hectic if you haven't cleared an area for quite some time. Nature tends to take back those areas that humans haven't policed for a while. It's like an old house, if you don't keep things up day by day, it will soon fall in and nature will move in.

Fall is a very busy season. If you don't take advantage of the fall weather to prepare for winter, things can really become a mess and get out of control in a hurry.

Fall is busy! It took us forever cleaning up our yard. It seemed like we kept getting rid of leaves and then more would blow in! Crazy! I don't have a campsite so I don't have to winterize that.

I feel you tentrus! I spent the entire weekend just cleaning up our backyard. But every time that I look out the window, it's like it's back to how it started. No complaints though. My youngest enjoys playing with the leaves lying around all over the place.

It's one of these times that I am thankful for staying in an apartment.
