Default Daylight Savings Time

Does anyone else wish we didn't have to wait another couple of months for Daylight Savings Time? The downside for starting it earlier is that you might have to get up while it's still dark. That's always the pits. However, it's worth it to have that extra hour of light at the end of the day.

I say once we changed back, leave it that way. People will adjust.

Agreed. This is "real time" we are in now. Why go back to daylight savings at all? What is the purpose now?

If you want more daylight at the end of the work day, get the employer to start work an hour earlier. This is just another mental conditioning to follow whatever big brother says.

Hi...

YOU'RE ALL RIGHT...!! Daylight "savings" time is no longer nesessary. It should remain on one "time" the year around.

So there.

I really like it. In winter we need the daylight in the morning, but in the summer it is great to have an extra hour of daylight.

I used to have a contract in Arizona which doesn't practice DST. It was a good example of why the practice is good.

I wish they'd leave it alone and let time be what it is. In an agrarian society, I could partially understand. These days, I would like to just go with the calendar year and not get all confused and out of sorts twice a year. It takes me weeks to adjust.
