I will say this. I've never been more thoroughly disgusted in those that we have elected to office, and I don't care whether they have a D or an R after their name.

That is my strategy, vote out the incumbants, but research the new guys and gals first.

I was reading how some of the independents want to address the issues with the fed. That is enough to at least get me to think about voting independent this time.

Everyone vote!!! If you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem. I'm talking local, state and federal elections. If you don't vote then you should NOT complain. Everyone does have a say, however I feel if you don't physically express your desires on election day then you should stay out of the "muddy water" and let those of us who want to help implement change get things done. I write my representatives and get responses. If I'm ignored, well then, maybe I need to reconsider who speaks for me on higher levels.

I think we need to make some changes in who is eligible to run for office, and I think we need term limits too. Congress is not meant to be a career. If you are a millionaire you probably don't have any business being there either because you are too out of touch with the majority of the population.

I've always voted and I'm ready to clear house this next election. Anyone who is in office now has a slim chance to be elected this next go around. All of the stuttering and blame being pointed at each other is sickening.

I will absolutely not be voting for anyone that is currently in office. What is Congress thinking going on vacation right now anyway? The country is in crisis and they flit off to their summer homes...really?
