Driving to Camp Sites When you head out to go camping, what do you drive? Are you able to pack light and take a small car or do you need something bigger for all of you?

I take my truck. I have plenty of room for supplies. I've known plenty of people though that will take a small car.

My husband drives an SUV so when we fold the third row down we have plenty of room for everything we bring and more. We are getting better and not bring a ton of extra stuff.

We normally drive our full size car if we are sharing a motor home with family or we take our dual cab pickup if we are taking the fifth wheel. I personally find it more convenient to just drive our car and the motor home is much roomier than the fifth wheel anyway.

Up until a few weeks ago, I had a Jeep Liberty. Unfortunately, I was in an accident with it and it was written off. The Liberty was awesome with enough space for everything I needed and my 8 year old son as the passenger.
