Easter Plans

Do any of you guys have Easter plans or trips planned out? We had planned to take our little ones to an animal sanctuary they love and then going to Grandma's for lunch and an egg hunt on Sunday. Unfortunately, they are both sick and can't be around other kids for a minimum of 7-10 days. No worries though we will still have some family fun in the backyard, and not to worry I have eggs ready to hunt too!

We are actually going to have a BBQ with two family couples and their kids on Saturday. It is a mix between Easter (with a hunt of course) and one of the youngsters birthdays which lands tomorrow. I can not wait, I love being up in the country and not hearing a ton of noisy neighbors.

Friday night is a friends birthday party, Saturday evening is a funeral service, and sunday is the wife's family dinner. I was given a greenhouse that I need to put together that I'm going to attempt to do in between that, along with some other projects. If I'm lucky I may get into the pool.

I may pull out the kids backpack and get that cleaned off. Really want to take my son out soon before it gets too hot. Always worry about over heating with the little ones.

Church service, egg hunt and lunch with the grandparents.

Grandson has a High School baseball tournament on the other side of the state. Get home late Saturday night and go to Church on Sunday.

Edit time, wrong weekend, no plans other than church.

Saturday I'm taking my grandma and kids to a wetland wildlife refuge to hopefully enjoy the spring bird migration (although I'm afraid we may be a week or two late for the really impressive bird numbers). We'll have a picnic and a little walk on the surrounding desert. My parents might be joining us as well. Hubby has to work, and I'm hoping he'll have time to till my garden at some point on Saturday. We'll probably color Easter eggs that night. Sunday we'll go to church and have lunch and an Easter egg hunt with my husband's sister and family.

8-10 mile dayhike tomorrow. I'm cooking an Easter brunch for everyone on Sunday.

Plan on going a family cookout for Easter. Haven't seen my brother in a while, so I'm gonna chill out and, and heckle the rest of the family with him as my wing man. Should be a lot of fun, as long as his wife allows it. She wears the pants in that relationship.

I'm going to my Ma's and suffer some relatives and a good meal. I'd rather be fishing.

After the standard rabbit-day festivities, egg dying and hunting, I'm going to a new place and hike 5 miles. Looking forward to it. I've been at the beach for the past week and feel like a fat pig. I haven't hiked in two weeks.
