Default Fat Burners?

Has any of you used any fat burners before? I'm going on a diet and training plan soon and I know how to lose weight but I was wondering will these speed up the process or at least make it more efficient.

Only fat burner I have ever used is a 30 min run. Sounds like you already got that in your plan. Not sure about any others.

Waste of money. It is all about the numbers. Calories in V.S Calories Brunt. Eat sensibly, watch the caloric intake, fats, and you will be good to go. Also don't cut calories to far if you cut calories to much your body will slow down metabolism and make it even harder to loose weight. There are some great tools out there to help. One good one is "My Fitness Pal". They have smartphone apps for tracking what you eat and support forums. The only thing the fat burners will make lighter is your wallet.

I found that many of those apps are base on a general profile and won't work for everyone. You need to experiment with the calorie count and notice what works for your body.

That is very true. Fitness Pal is better than many as you input your weight height. Then you put in your weight lose goal. However you do have to tweak it based on your body. One of the strongest features is the forum where others share their experiences.

Eat cabbage soup. It is not spicy but it makes you sweat, thereby reducing your fat. Include jogging in the morning after waking up and before going to work.

The best overall results for people I know have been low-carb/ higher fat diets like Atkins.

Watch the glycemic index of what you eat and stay away from sweets, pastas and bread. Amp up your activity, and you should be in a position to lose weight.

Thanks guys for the input. I'm going lower on carbs and higher on protein, while striving to eat just healthier fats at the same time. Exercise is a must obviously and a basis to build your nutrition around.

As for the supplements I would recommend: I don't have any specific recommendations but stick to herbal extracts which are known to help. Anything other than that is manufacturer's hype and marketing.

Be VERY careful of herbals! The are often mislabeled or adulterated with other things. Quality control and oversight of this industry is very poor.
