Default Fleas!! in cars and update

So I was driving to work today and a flea jumped on me. I don't know if they are in the car or if I brought it in with me. The living room seems to be the culprit. We had bombed the entire house 4 times and I vacuum at least 3 times a day! We have hardwood floors in the living room.

Question- How can I tell if they are in the car and how do I get them out??

I called the exterminator today and they are supposed to be coming to look at the house for an estimate and to tell me what needs to be done before they come to spray!

We used to get them every year. Bomb the house and spread flea killer all over the yard. Sand fleas were pretty common. We had two cats then too.

Haven't had fleas in years. Hardwood floors and some carpet, but no pets allowed. I don't even let people bring their "house trained" pets in my house.

We are past the bombing stage (tried it 4 times, several bombs each time). We have also spread the flea killer spray in the yard. How do I get them out of my car if they are in there. You can't bomb vehicles - bombs say nothing smaller than a 6 x 6 foot room.

I,d bomb the car anyway. Then sweep up the inside and clean the windows.

Vacuum out the car real good and add some orange oil.

Bomb the car. Just disconnect the battery first and don't reconnect until after you air it out.

Sand fleas freak me out , its the one reason I refused my kids to have sand boxes. I had no idea how to prevent them but dang in the car too? We had normal fleas once and that was enough for me.

We have normal fleas and they came from my dogs. They crawl everywhere, even on the corners of my bedroom wall. Sadly I couldn't remove them with tick and flea shampoo alone. Frontline applicator is so expensive nowadays.

Diatomaceous Earth. If you want to know how to use this as a safe non-toxic flea killer, it is all over the internet on various sites. It does work and can be purchased very cheaply.

I vacuumed the heck out of the car. Nothing has jumped on me in days now so I think I might have gotten them all. If another one jumps, I am going to bomb! Thanks for the tip about the battery.
