Default Found: The end of the rainbow... but there's no pot of gold

Legend has it that at the end of every rainbow sits a leprechaun, hammering on a shoe, who will reveal the whereabouts of a crock of gold.

Just as well, then, that it's only a legend - otherwise the little imp at the end of this rainbow would have found himself squashed by a 4x4 on a busy motorway.

While many of us have seen a rainbow, few have been lucky enough to witness where it actually ends.
Even fewer have caught the moment on camera.

I sure would love to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow right about now! Actually though isn't the rainbow round? I thought I remember reading that somewhere.

I remember reading somewhere that a rainbow is a truly unique optical situation. Aside from viewing one that has been captured on film as a snapshot, when we view a rainbow everyone of us does it from a very specific and unique positioning, shared by no one. Consequently, not two people see a rainbow in exactly the same way.

That's true. I seen a double rainbow a few years ago and that was a really neat thing to see. I had never seen one before.
