I have a 5500 watt generator on standby to run the freezers, fridge, and well. I only change out the gas in the fall, using Stabil in the meantime.

i cant stress the importance of staybil and non ethinol gas enough. Being gone for months at a time all my toys sit up. Forgetting to run the gas outa my out board or stopping for ethinol gas in my jeep can be costly mistake. I guess our high humidity worsens the problem but having the carbs cleaned on ya out board, generator, weed eater , tiller, etc ya get it. is a mistake I hope yall can avoid.

We have a small generator and it has come in handy several times since we bought it. We got it the day after hurricane Opal came through. We actually got the last one in the store.
