So tonight while the wife was at school, I took the kid to a local park for a walk. She did about a mile and did not complain at all. We managed to see three turtles. One of them had multi colored circles like a kid stuck dots on it. She even managed to get up three flights of stairs to the watch tower. I did have to carry her down as she did not want to hold my hand when going down.

So I think I may have someone to go for a walk with. I think next Wednesday we will try a different park.

Then to make the night even better I went by were they were building another park with a canoe/kayak launch. And it is open to the public now. So I am ecstatic. This place is even closer then the other one. So I'm just itching now to take the kayak out and do some fishing. The only problem is it closes at dusk. Still looking for a place to put in at night.
