I am such an outdoor geek. I spent the day cleaning gear (again) and reorganizing according to hobbies. Nope, nothing new to add to the need list and didn't drag out the pencil to start a want list. Woohoo, a first for me!

Happy New Year, everyone! Not much on my need list- I want to pick up a decent solo tent before long.

Want list- about the only two things there that have been there for a while (about the time I get to where I can afford one of them, I find the price has moved up), are : An Ithaca Model 37 pump shotgun (12 ga or 16 ga), and a Ruger Convertible Single-Six .22/.22 Magnum.

For a WISH: it would be a Browning Sweet Sixteen in Very Good condition.

Happy New Year to everyone at OBC! Hope my 2013 is as great at 2012 was. At least I ended it the same way I started it - with a hike in the mountains.

Nice gun. I had one a few years ago. A fellow left it with me to reblue it for him. After I finished the job he told me to keep it. It was a sweet gun. I gave it away to somebody who needed a shotgun. He still has it and loves it.

I guess that's what a Happy New Year is all about. You wish it for others, not yourself.

I got to use a friend's Sweet Sixteen a few years ago. That only increased my desire for one LOL. I've always been a 16 ga lover. My grandad taught me to shoot shotguns with his 16 ga doubles. Never really understood just why it got so unpopular....
