Many chain restaurants also have specials and/or free meals for Veterans on their day. Red Lobster is the only one that comes to mind...although there are MANY more across the U.S.

Thanks to all! Our grand-kid sent out a video text to everyone in the family who is a vet and it brightened everyone's day. Nothing is more cute than seeing a little one utter just a few quick words and then going off into a spiel about how they learned about our vet's this past week in school too.
