Hurricane season I saw on weather.com today that NOAA is predicting 2010 to be a bad hurricane season. I know they say that almost every year and often times they are wrong, but since I live on the Gulf coast it gets my attention. Does anybody else live in a hurricane prone area? I certainly hope they are jumping the gun and we have a quiet season.

There sure do seem to be a lot of people predicting it to be a bad one though. I am pretty far from the coast in Georgia but we always get bad winds, thunderstorms, and flooding rains though. I am making sure we have extra supplies on hand just in case.

I'm just north of Tampa, FL. Thankfully so far we have been lucky. Either they hit above or bellow, but nothing of a direct hit really. We did have two tropical storms come close, and lost a tree, but nothing too serious.
