Default Lookout Mountains

I was just looking at the pictures IndianaH. posted and I was thinking about planning a trip. I understand Lookout Mountain, Tennessee is a great place to see too. I always saw the barn advertisement which said, "See 7 States From Lookout Mountain". That sign captured my attention but I've never had the opportunity to go. I may just plan the trip out now. Nothing like going while you still have the ability to hike.

Lookout Mountain is not all that far from me. You should plan on seeing Ruby Falls, which is a indoor waterfall inside a cave. It's really spectacular.

Lookout mountain is pretty nice but touristy. You can get some great views in other places and have the place mostly to yourself.
Second ruby falls! Rock city can be skipped but ruby falls is an awesome sight. They led us in there with the lights off, then there was some cheesy music and the lights popped on.

Grandfather mountain is great too... You can drive almost to the top and look out over the valley.
