If you've seen Navy SEALs, you'll see what I mean. Don't get me wrong though, it's a great movie!

The trailer looks good, unless they've changed the plot, I know how it ends. I'll probably see it when it hits Netflix or the library.

I guess I'm going against the grain and just saying "eh". I found nothing wrong with the original and I like it. This one does nothing for me. Sort of like the ALF movie they want to make.

Just out of curiosity does anyone think a scenario like this could actually happen? Some of the "alternative" news outlets I visit have had a quite a few stories about the Russians lately.

Only if we self destruct which we are trying to do at a rapid pace right now. The goal is to overload our entitlement system, causing a complete financial collapse. Advertizing for people to get on food stamps, encouraging illegal aliens to cross and giving them full benefits and voting rights when they do, killing small business and forcing people to use their savings is accomplishing that at an alarming rate.

I've never seen the original "Red Dawn," so I guess I'll have to scout it up and watch it before I see the newer one. I'm always on the lookout for a good movie.

We are movie buffs so we will probably check it out.

I think there are all kinds of scenarios that could play out anywhere in the world that could throw people into turmoil. I haven't seen this movie yet so I don't know what actually played out. I don't think the Russians are a threat as much as the Chinese. Not saying that we should fear the Chinese, but they are building their military more and more as time goes by.

My Dad told me about this film, it is one of his all-time favorites. It was released a year before I was born and I haven't had the opportunity to see it. I'll have to tell him about the remake. When is it out?
