We were also out looking at new cars today even though we only buy at the end of the year (unless the deal is amazing). These running in our area in the low 30's, v6 and a 6 speed. Anyone have one that I could compare some notes with?

Sweet Ride!
Mrs. Coz wants a Charger so bad she can taste it but unfortunately she has a couple of years left on her Xterra before we can trade.

A few police buddies drive them. They seem to really like them.

I don't think I'll ever buy another new car. They drop so much value in the first couple years. I think it makes a lot more sense to wait and buy one thats 2-3 years old.

I managed to get my car when it was 3 months old the same year it was made. The first person who bought it only left a small tear in the carpet line which was fixed quick (and cheap). I am just not sure I want a new car now since I have only had this one for a few years.

Grandma gets the new cars. I buy old clunkers that I can drive up and down the rocky road canyons without worrying. My current booney buster, a '99 cavalier I paid 2000 for, has carried me for over 90,000 miles. It now has 260,000 miles on it and I wouldn't hestitate to head out on a 1000 mile trip in it.
